Before you begin the first warm-up exercise, please take a moment to view the tabulature definitions as this will be the format of each lesson piece.
For the first warm-up, you should try the old fashioned chromatic scale. Try to play each note evenly, and refer to the sidebar for tips on how to grip the fret board.
This next warm-up focuses on the picking hand. Try the standard finger style and be sure to alternate the index and middle finger.
SLAP BASS!! Always a crowd favorite, slap style utilizes the thumb and index finger in a very percussive way.
Don't be intimadated by this next lesson. Though it may be confusing at first, the two-handed tapping style is a great way to play counterpoint melodies.
